Happy birthday, dear and admired namesake,
I will never forget the first time I was able to enjoy, together with Irene, your extraordinary performance in the beautiful town of Esslingen about a decade ago. In a packed hall, there was a palpable feeling of restrained emotion among the audience, many of whom were already unconditional fans. For us, that day was our initiation into the art of mime and I confess that I could never have imagined having as much fun as we did that evening. You managed to captivate us in a matter of seconds, at times we laughed out loud and at others we were in tears. You kept us in suspense during the whole performance, I felt like a child, a prisoner of incredible emotions and I wished that the show would never end. And all this without saying a word, it really turned out to be pure magic and, of course, we also became unconditional fans of yours. I wish you continue to water with happiness this world so in need of your magic and hope, with your art you reach all of us in every corner of the planet and you manage to outline smiles in young and old. Thank you for all this dear friend!
